Overview

EPOD-Lite is an Electronic Proof of Delivery System including signature capture, barcode scanning and GPS (global positioning system) location recording.

The EPOD Lite Hand Held Terminal Application captures details about the delivery location and the goods being delivered as well as the signature and name of the recipient. Barcode scanning is supported, and you can link up to the Global Positioning System (GPS), to accurately record (and later view) the map location at which the delivery was made.

Proof of delivery information is made available on the web as soon as the data is received by the EPOD Lite server.

This version is for demonstration and evaluation only. However it is fully operational with no usage time limit.

EPOD Lite Supports:

• Barcode scanning on Symbol and Intermec devices (HHP to follow soon)
• GPS recording via an NMEA GPS receiver
• GPRS or other mobile communications, for real-time POD updates
